Contour line: The first vocabulary word I decided to find a photo for was Contour line. Contour line is defined as the perceived line that marks the border of an object in space. For an example of contour line I used the above image as my example, which was drawn by AJ Williamson. This art work illustrates the term for contour line because the image has borders marked with lines in space, hence contour line. Outline: I chose outline as my next vocabulary word. Outline is defined as the edge of a shape or figure depicted by an actual line drawn or painted on the surface. I used the art done by Richie Tatum called " Landing Duck" as my example for outline. This piece of art is a good example for outline because the use of the outline helps make this picture what it is by outlining the duck, and make the duck look like a duck with the outlining of the wings.
